Roofs

Roof cleaning: before and after

Moss is taken off the roof by hand. We don't jet wash roof tiles at high pressure. Once the moss is off, a biocide treatment kills the algae and lichen left on the tiles and helps slow regrowth.

On the semis, next door's roof sits alongside for comparison. Roof cleaning starts from £400.

Gutters & fascias

Gutter and fascia cleaning: before and after

Gutters are cleared with a gutter vac. It sucks out whatever has built up in the channel: moss washed off the roof, feathers and the dark sludge that settles at the bottom. Fascias and soffits are cleaned from mobile scaffold towers and ladders.

Gutter cleaning is £60, £80 or £100 for a 2, 3 or 4 bed house, and fascias and soffits are £100. WhatsApp a photo to 07429 744826.

Questions

Questions about these photos

Why are some roofs only half clean in the photos?

Those were taken part-way through the job. With half the roof done, you can see cleared tiles right next to the ones still to do.

Why are some photos side by side rather than in a slider?

A slider only works when both photos line up. Where the before and after were taken from different spots or distances, they sit side by side instead, so the comparison stays fair.

Can you price my job from a photo?

A photo helps. WhatsApp one to 07429 744826 with your postcode and we'll price it. Window and gutter cleaning are fixed prices by house size. Roofs, driveways and patios start from the price shown and depend on the size of the job.

Why does the paving look wet in some after photos?

Those were taken straight after cleaning, before the paving had dried. Wet slabs and blocks look deeper in colour and settle to a slightly lighter shade once dry.

Do I need to hire towers or ladders?

No. We own and bring all our own access equipment, including mobile scaffold towers and ladders, and it's included in the price.
